Nowhere else in Switzerland has so many via ferratas in such close vicinity than Engelberg. Here, there are six to choose from. The mighty Fürenwand via ferrata covers almost 800 metres of ascent and requires strength and stamina. Climbers can re- turn nice and easy by cable car, however.
