«Wolken» Kunststoff Kabelbinder / 2019–2022

lebt und arbeitet in Stansstad und ist seit 1991 tätig als freischaffende Gestalterin und Bühnenbildnerin. Aus- gebildete Dekorateurin mit Weiterbildung beim Bild- hauer Franco Annoni, LU. Studienaufenthalte in Salz- burg. Beteiligung an Einzel- und Gruppenausstellungen, Kunstprojekte, Kunst am Bau und diverse Bühnenbilder. Im künstlerischen Prozess sind Objekte, Collagen und Zeichnungen entstanden.

Seit drei Jahren befasst sie sich mit der Werkgruppe Wolken und erweitert oder verändert sie seither in ihrer Formgebung. Mit den Themen Wahrnehmung und Erin- nerung will sie das Absurde, Überraschende im alltäg- lichen Leben an die Oberfläche holen. Den Blick auf etwas richten, das Verwirrung stiftet und dabei die Auf- merksamkeit auf das Material lenken. So sind Kabelbin- der die verbindenden Teile, aus denen die Objekte er- schaffen sind. Die Auseinandersetzung der Wolken und deren Wirken ist zwar optisch fassbar, doch geht es der Künstlerin um den Entstehens- und Vergehens Prozess. Das fragile und doch so zähe Kunststoffmaterial wird mit der Natur zum surrealen Gesamtbild weiterentwickelt. Amstutz has been working on her «Wolken» group for three years. Addressing the themes of perception and memory, she aims to bring the absurd and surprising mo- ments of everyday life to the surface – to direct attention at things that cause confusion and raise awareness of the material. Cable ties are the connecting elements that the objects are shaped from. Although one may contem- plate the visual manifestation and effect of the clouds («Wolken»), the artist is primarily concerned with proces- ses of formation and dissipation.

Lives and works in Stansstad; she has been a freelance designer and set designer since 1991. Qualified interior designer; trained under the sculptor Franco Annoni (Lu- cerne). Periods of study in Salzburg. Participation in group and solo exhibitions, art projects, building art, and the design of various stage sets. Has produced sculptures, collages and drawings.
