Weitere Höhepunkte sind die Walegg mit herrlichem Aus- blick auf den Bannalpsee, die Einkehr auf der Ziegenalp Oberfeld, der Barfussweg um den Härzlisee bei der Brunni- hütte und das durchweg gran- diose Panorama.

Der Walenpfad ist eine der schönsten Schweizer Höhen- wanderungen, der von Brunni ins Bannalpgebiet führt und in beide Richtungen begangen werden kann. Auf der Walen- alp lädt eine grosse Feuerstel- le und der Ausblick bis weit ins Mittelland zum Rasten ein.

The Walenpfad Trail is one of the loveliest high-Alpine hikes in Switzerland. It leads from Brunni to the Bannalp area and can be completed in either direction. When you get to the Walenalp, your efforts are rewarded with a large barbecue pit and views way across the Swiss Plateau. Other highlights

of the hike are the Walegg with wonderful views over the Bannalpsee lake, a visit to the Oberfeld goat pasture and dairy, the barefoot trail around Härzlisee lake by the Brunni mountain hut, and the consis- tently splendid panoramic views.
