Durch die wildromantische Aa- schlucht zieht sich ein abwechs- lungsreicher Wanderweg, der mit etlichen Hängebrücken mehr- mals die Aa überquert. Vielerorts sind idyllische Grillplätze zu fin- den, Spielstationen bringen die Kleinen auf andere Gedanken und der überdachte Lagerplatz « Tonis Balm » bietet eine fast perfekt ausgestattete Outdoor- küche. Besonders nach der Schneeschmelze ist die Tour ein- drücklich, aber auch an einem heissen Sommertag sehr zu empfehlen. Im Anschluss stärkt man sich in der Wirtschaft Gra- fenort und fährt von dort aus mit dem Zug retour.

This varied hiking trail takes you through the wild, romantic Aa gorge, crossing the river at seve- ral points on various suspen- sion bridges. Idyllic barbecue spots dot the route, various play areas keep the little ones oc- cupied, and at the covered rest stop – evocative of old-world gold prospecting days – time seems to stand still. The tour is particularly impressive in the spring when the Aa swells with melting snow, but it is also very popular on hot summer days as the gorge is shady and cool. Afterwards, you can take re- freshments at the Grafenort inn and return by train.
