Das kleine Dorf Oberrickenbach liegt in einem idyllischen Sei- tental. Die Wanderung führt von der Talsohle bis hinauf auf den schroffen aber aussichtsreichen Gratweg durch verschiedenste Vegetationszonen und eine ab- wechslungsreiche Tier- und Pflanzenwelt. Die ersten 750 Höhenmeter werden auf dem Wanderweg zurückgelegt, bevor es dann in unzähligen Serpen- tinen sehr kurzweilig bis zum Haldigrat geht. Um ein paar Hö- henmeter Aufstieg zu ersparen kannst du die Fell-Chrüzhütte Luftseilbahn nutzen.

The little village of Oberricken- bach, which lies in an idyllic side valley, is the starting point for this wonderful, diverse circular tour. It leads from the bottom of the valley to a rug- ged ridge-top path, through va- rious vegetation zones and past all manner of flora and fauna. After the first 750 me- ters of ascent, the route takes countless zigzags to the Hal- digrat. To save yourself much of the uphill climb, you can take the Fell-Chrüzhütte cable car.

Mit der Luftseilbahn geht's bequem hinauf nach Wirzweli. Von dort führt der Wander- weg durch Almweiden und Wäl- der hinauf zur Gummenalp, die zur kurzen Rast einlädt. Ein kurzes Wegstück führt fast eben, vorbei am Bio-Bergbau- ernhof Oberalp, bevor der zweite Teil dieser Tour nun ste- tig und mit herrlicher Aussicht bis zum höchsten Punkt der Tour ansteigt. Auf dem Abstieg hinab zur Büelenbahn-Berg- station, wartet am Chärnoupär- see ein wunderschöner Pick- nickplatz, an dem du rasten und nochmals Kräfte tanken kannst.

This hike starts with a cable car ride up to Wirzweli, where the path then leads across Alpine meadows and through forests to Gummenalp, which is a great spot to take a short break. An al- most-level short woodland rou- te takes you past the Oberalp organic mountain farm, and then the second, part of this tour now climbs steadily and with a magnificent view to the high- est point. On the descent to the mountain station of the Büelen gondola, a beautiful picnic ar- ea awaits you at Chernopärsee, where you can rest and recharge your batteries.
