At Brunni, close to the Härzlisee lake, are two relatively short via ferratas with different degrees of difficulty. The Brunnistöckli is suitable for children and begin-
ners, while the Zittergrat is much more challenging, with a difficult hurdle right at the beginning. People with a high level of fitness and stamina who are keen to climb closer to the summit should tackle the Rigidalstock, which is reached via an Alpine hiking trail with an upward climb of around 1.8 km. You climb up the Rigidal- stockwand and back down on another via ferrata across the Rigidalstockgrat. An easier op- tion is to take the ridge route to the summit. Via ferrata clim- bing equipment can be hired at the Kräuter Hut by the Härzlisee.
