Auf dem geologischen Panora- ma-Wanderweg mit imposanten Tiefblicken Richtung Trübsee und Engelberg, erfährst du mehr über die Erdgeschichte der Al- pen. Infotafeln gewähren dir spannende Einblicke in die Berg- welt und erklären die geologi- sche Entwicklung des Titlis Ge- biets. Die Tour beeindruckt mit einer fantastischen Aussicht auf den Titlis-Gletscher, der sich stets in greifbarer Nähe befin- det. Der Weg kann in beide Richtungen begangen werden.

On the Geology Trail, a hiking path with magnificent pano- ramic views over Trübsee and Engelberg, you can learn more about the geology of the Alps. Information boards give you fas- cinating insights into our moun- tain landscape and explain the geological developments that created the Titlis region. The tour ends with a fantastic up-close view of the Titlis glacier.

Auf dem Naturlehrpfad dreht sich alles um die Geschichte, Ge- steine, Tier- und Pflanzenwelt "Grotzli" sind keine schauri gen Gestalten, sondern junge Bäume im Engelberger Dialekt. Während du hoch über dem Surenental immer tiefer in die Bergwelt eintauchst, sind Was- ser in verschiedensten Formen (Seeli, Bergbach, Brunnen, Do- linen und Biotop) sowie eine wunderbare Aussicht auf die majestätischen Spannort-Gipfel stetige Begleiter. Am Grillplatz in der Nähe der Bergstation oder im Bergrestaurant Fürenalp mit Kinderspielplatz kannst du dich stärken und verweilen. Die Ausstellung "Bärennest" zeigt die spannenden Funde von Braunbärknochen, welche über 12400 und 9500 Jahre alt sind.

On the Grotzliweg Nature Trail you can learn about the region’s history, geology, flora and fauna. "Grotzli" are not spooky crea tures, they are young trees in the Engelberg dialect. As you pro ceed further into the beautiful Alpine landscape high above the Surenen Valley, you will pass numerous different bodies of water – lakes, streams, springs and sinkholes. You will also have constant views of the majestic Spannort peaks. The barbecue site close to the mountain station and the Fürenalp restaurant with its children’s playground are two wonderful spots to linger awhile and enjoy a bite to eat. The "Bear's Nest" exhibition shows the exciting discovery of brown bear bones that are over 12,400 and 9,500 years old.
