Das kleine Dorf Oberricken bach liegt in einem idyllischen Seitental. Die Wanderung be ginnt mit einer spektakulären Bergfahrt mit zwei kleinen Buiräbähnli hoch nach Spis - Sinsgäu. Anschliessend geht es in zahlreichen Serpentinen sehr kurzweilig bis auf den Haldigrat, wo dich ein schroffer aber aussichtsreichen Gratweg erwartet. Dort kannst du beim Berggasthaus Haldigrat Rast einlegen und die atember aubende Aussicht geniessen. Mit Kurt's Sessellift geht’s runter zum Alpboden. Durch Wälder und Wiesen vorbei am Berghof Brändlen wanderst du zurück nach Oberrickenbach.

The small village of Oberrick enbach lies in an idyllic side valley. The hike begins with a spectacular mountain ride with two small Buiräbähnli trains up to Spis - Sinsgäu. Afterwards, the route is very entertaining with numerous serpentines up to the Haldigrat, where a rug ged but panoramic ridge path awaits you. There you can take a break at the Berggasthaus Haldigrat and enjoy the breath taking view. Take Kurt's chairlift down to Alpboden. Walk through forests and meadows past Berghof Brändlen back to Oberrickenbach.

Mit den zwei Buiräbähnlis geht's bequem hinauf zur Oberalp. Von dort führt der Wanderweg durch Almwei den und Wälder in wilder Natur hinauf zur Kernalp. Am Kernalpsee wartet ein wunderschöner Picknickplatz, an dem du rasten und Kräfte tanken kannst. Der höchste Punkt mit Gipfelkreuz bietet eine wunderbare Aussicht ins Engelbergertal. Auf dem teils steilen Abstieg hinab zur Bielenbahn-Bergstation, warten ein Wasserfall ein Grillhüttli und wunderschöne Blumenwiesen auf dich.

The two Buiräbähnlis take you comfortably up to Oberalp. From there, the hiking trail leads through alpine pastures and forests in wild nature up to Kernalp. A wonderful picnic area awaits you at the Kernalp see, where you can rest and recharge your batteries. The highest point with a summit cross offers a wonderful view of the Engelberg valley. On the partly steep descent to the Bielenbahn mountain station, a waterfall, a barbecue hut and beautiful flower meadows await you.
