ALPINE CHEESE TRAIL

Zahlreiche urchige Alphütten laden auf einer Wanderung rund um Engelberg zur Rast ein. Vielerorts kann Alpkäse direkt vor Ort degustiert und gekauft werden oder es gibt sogar eine kleine Beiz mit feinen hausgemachten Spezia- litäten. Als Motivation für den Rest der Tour gibts nicht nur für die Kinder ein feines hausgemachtes Glacé. Klingt gut, oder? P.S. Der Alpkäse-Trail verbindet sieben Alpkäserein und auf drei speziellen Familienetappen wird für Gross und Klein je- de Menge geboten. While you are hiking in and around Engelberg you will come across numerous rustic Alpine huts that invite you to stay awhile. In many places you can sample and purchase Alpine cheese, or there may be a small restaurant with exquisite home-made specialities. And delicious farmhouse ice cream is sure to sweeten the final stage of a long walk – not just for the kids! The Alpine Cheese Trail connects up seven different Alpine cheese dairies, and there is plenty for kids to enjoy on three especially family-friendly sections of the trail.
